Renovation of sports hall with 8.0 mm thick vinyl sports flooring after subfloor preparation with epoxy moisture barrier and self-levelling compound has been done. Due to high humidity level, this particular project required one of the very best moisture barrier to ensure that the sport vinyl flooring installed will not be damage by moisture issues in the future.

All students also have access to a great range of leisure and well-being facilities including a purpose-built sports complex and superb swimming pool with numerous student societies, clubs and a very active student association.
REFURBISHMENT OF THE MULTI-PURPOSE HALL
High usage, constantly with high traffic with sports activities on the multi-purpose hall with high moisture issues quickly lead to the need of a brand-new flooring for the said hall. Not only we were task with the above challenges, we do need to take into consideration of the working schedule as the school did not intend to leave their students without access to the multi-purpose hall for too long a period of time.
Again, together with our distributor we quickly worked out solutions and a working program to accommodate the clients requirements. With the high moisture issue in mind, our proposal is to offset that with Uzin PE 460 two (2) component epoxy moisture barrier with another layer of our bonding agent PE 280 specifically formulated for non-absorbent surface to provide a better grip for our self-levelling compound.
Since there are sports activities, it was also crucial that we maintain a flat surface especially in the game area ensuring the users are safe from injuries during sports activities. For that we installed a layer of Uzin self-levelling compound before our distributor finished off with 8.0 mm thick sport vinyl flooring.
DELIVERING PROMISES MEETING EXPECTATIONS
After hustling for a week, we finally completed the job, from removing previous engineered timber flooring to moisture barrier, primer and self-levelling towards sport vinyl flooring installation. Not only our team solved the clients concerns, but we were able to achieve that within the given working schedule ensuring the university operations are not obstructed.
